Hello friends
Thank you for starting the week with a visit to sweet bead studio. As promised, I’m focusing on summer-inspired jewelry. Just look at these transparent blue beads (by Moon Stumpp)…now how’s that for ocean blue? You may recognize this bracelet…it’s an oxidized wire bangle made in KAB’s “Sandy Lantern” style!
These next few pieces feature artisan lampwork beads in a classic orange/turquoise color scheme. I’ve paired up beads, and no two are alike. I just love the whimsical details…lots of dots and stripes made from stringer. You can find these pieces in my Etsy shop later in the week.
My little guy turned 9 months old over the weekend. I couldn’t resist sharing a few pictures…look, he’s contemplating the sea at such a young age. As you can see, we went back to the beach!
One of the highlights this weekend was spending the day with some “old” family friends. It’s so rare that we can spend time together (we do live in different states), so getting together was a real treasure.
