Announcing the Pay it Forward Winners!

A  little birdie told me the news….Congrats to Mallory and Theresa, you’re my Pay it Forward winners!   I’ll be sending some surprises your way within the next month.  Please contact me with your mailing address.  When you receive your gift, simply mention it in your blog with a link back to sweet bead studio.

I was thrilled that 19 of you wanted to play along!  Hey, there’s no reason why you can’t start your own Pay it Forward if you’re so inclined….would be lots of fun!

Now on to jewelry….here’s my latest summer-inspired piece.  I have been drawn to these charm-style necklaces (hmmm…I should give this collection a name).    I stamped “Aloha” on a piece of copper sheet metal, cut it into a rectangle and gave it some texture.  There are a couple of beachy Hilltribe silver charms and Swarovski crystals in shades of blue.  The ruffled discs made to look like sea glass are by Becklin Bead Designs. The charms hang from a 24″ copper ball chain and the entire piece has been oxidized to give it a nice rustic look.    “Aloha” would be a great piece to remind you of a past vacation or one you dream of taking…

Love it! I bought a stamping set a few weeks ago to try my hand at something new. I am excited to give it a try, and add some “words” to my Fall jewels.

Very cute! As soon as I get out from under whatever I am under, I think I’ll do a pay it forward! Fun idea!

Really beautiful! My favorite sort of jewelry at the moment as well – and the ocean theme is a passion. Love seeing your creations 🙂
