Boys of Summer

Greetings from the beach {again}.  Please tell me you’re not tired of stopping by here to find more beach pictures!  You know I can’t help myself…this is my favorite season!  I’m savoring it for as long as I can.  And believe it or not, I’m actually restraining myself from posting even more pictures! 😉

Whew, what a day.  I’m here with just the kids, and as luck would have it my littlest guy had a bit of an accident this morning.  He was busy crawling and thump! hit his head on the metal bed rail – right next to his eye.  I wasn’t sure if it warranted a trip to the doctors so I decided to be cautious and went with all 4 kids to the local urgent care center.   Let me tell you it was a painfully looooong wait.  But the good news is he’s okay and no stitches were needed.

We did something a little different and went back to the beach after dinner.  Oh it was so PERFECT then.  It was cool, the crowds were gone, and we had so much sand to ourselves.  What a wonderful place to watch the sun go down.  The boys had fun running in and out of the waves (and tumbling in them of course) that they didn’t want to go home.  The baby fell asleep as I carried him on our walk home.

Now speaking of the boys….look at this beautiful custom stamped pendant made just for me by sTuck in the Coop!  I recently won Heather’s “Christmas in July” give away for one of her new “clam shell” designs.  I couldn’t believe my great luck…you know I just love personalized stamped pieces!  Her design is so clever – two domed sterling discs forming a clam shell with a name inside.  If you stop by her shop, check out her profile…I just love how she came up with her shop name.

We love going to the beach after dinner! It’s a lot of fun. We’re here right now(SC) and my son has a black eye from getting hit with a football.

Who could get tired of beach photos?? I mean, seriously?
I just wish I could spend my life there – I would be a wonderful beach bum, er aahhmm, I mean, beach comber. And I remember how much I loved it as a kid… keep on giving them memories for a lifetime!

The pictures paint such a happy warm scene. The boys are so happy playing in the waves. Don’t you wish summer could last forever? I love the necklace. What a great way to remind you of the summer with your boys!

Keep those pics coming-can’t get enough of those chubby cheeks! Your necklace is perfect-simple, elegant, and sentimental.

Thank you all for humoring me about the beach photos. I’m sorry there might not be many more….this just might be our last trip (for now).
