Another summer weekend has come and gone. It’s been a fun week though. After we returned from the beach, we were able to spend some time with my brother who was in the DC area for a preventative medicine board conference. I’m posting some pictures here as an entry in my blog-as-journal-of-sorts category!
Some of the highlights around here were taking my brother to our favorite pizza place – Generous George’s (if you are one of those people who don’t eat the crust, you would probably love theirs..it is SO doughy!), celebrating his birthday early while he was home, and my son’s first football scrimmage. I’m proud of my little guy…he stuck it out even though he was bit afraid!
This will be two of the boy’s last full week of summer vacation. I can’t believe I’m typing that…oh no! Summer just came and went in a flash. 🙁 Here are those pictures (and *sigh* this time none from the beach).

Cindy I just love the pictures! Do you really have four children?? How do you do it all? I am amazed! I too hate to see Summer go….there is a feeling of freedom to Summer…does that make sense?

I, too, hate to see summer end!!! Seems like winter always lasts a lot longer than the calendar says and summer always ends a lot sooner than the calendar says! Guess we’ll have to wait for heaven to get back to the Garden of Eden!
