Cindy: What a fun day for parents … not to mention the kids! When my kids were growing up we lived in La Plata, MD in a neighborhood of lot sizes from 3 to 5 acres. One of the fathers used his tractor and a flat bed filled with bales of straw to cart the kids from house to house … and some of the adults! These are the memories that stay with you forever! Enjoy tonight … and don’t steal all of the good candy from your kids!

Barbara makes a good point….trying not to sneak the best candy from the kids!! Good thing they don’t really like coconut. Unfortunately it looks like RAIN!!! 🙁

Oh no! I hope it doesn’t rain on the scariest night of the year! Have a frightfully good time and tell them Goodwitch Sharon said it’s a scientific fact that kids turn into pumpkins when they eat coconut!

I save all the Almond Joys for me too! We only had about half the usual number of kids tonight–about 150! At least it didn’t rain and wasn’t Freezing! Can’t wait to see picutures of the family Halloween costumes!!
