The ArtBLISS Inaugural Event has come and gone much too fast. My mind is reeling thinking about the weekend, and I am going to commit these wonderful days to memory. Thank you to each and every person who stepped in to the ArtBLISS world over the weekend….YOU made the event the best art retreat in town. Please allow me to share a few pictures with you, as I just can’t contain the excitement I felt over the last few days spent with friends (old and new) and with our amazing instructors.
We received fantastic support from our family. Jeanette and I are grateful to our husbands who helped from freeing up time for us to dedicate to planning (and for making our flyers and name badges!), to stopping by the event with out kids to root us on. We were also grateful for the support shown for the students and instructors whose spouses and children traveled with them so they could attend.
One of our attendees surprised us with beautiful enameled bangles to commemorate the occasion….complete with a quote from the ArtBLISS website. Thank you Jean!
There were reunions between friends….
And meeting some of our favorite artists for the first time (Deryn Mentock)…..
There was was plenty of hands-on learning like we all hoped for….

Cindy and gang, congrats on your event. It sounds like it was a success. I did fly over this weekend! I went to High Point, NC for a weekend of furniture shopping.

This was such a wonderful experience. I adore Melissa now. Her classes were the BOMB! Can’t wait for the details on Art Bliss II.

How great it all sounds – I’m sorry it was too far for me to attend. I know you did a spectacular job.
I stopped by to thank you for something else. Way back during the first Bead Soup I asked you about tumbling jewelry. I finally got a tumbler just two days ago. It is great, and beads that looked a little down and out are now perfectly beaming, and so am I. Thank you again for the info you shared with me.

Thanks so much Cindy, you and Jeannette created something wonderful with artbliss! It was such a warm and friendly atmosphere, the instructors were superb, I had both Melissa Manley and Deryn Mentock. The food and venue was exceptional, the giveaways, the meet and greet, the shopping and the trunk shows in the hotel rooms OH MY! I hated to see the party end! It was really special and I’m so lucky to have been a part of it! Hugs, Laura

Although I couldn’t be there, it sounds as though you all had a blast, learned some neat stuff, reconnected with old friends and made new ones. What else can you ask for? SOOOOOOOOO glad it all went well, but with such careful and artful planning, how could it not have?? You two rock and so satisfying to have your vision realized.
