Merry Christmas!

by Cindy on December 24, 2010

Welcome, Christmas 2010!!!  What a joy these days been,  when the boys slowed down for moments –  in the midst of Nerf battles –  to be present in all that the holidays encompass……decorating sugar cookies, painting plaster village houses and Nutcrackers, decorating the tree, listening to Christmas songs nonstop, and reminiscing about Christmases past……

May the spirit of Christmas fill your hearts, and may you experience true moments of joy and contentment. You have given me a special gift, by visiting my blog throughout the year….I do appreciate all who stop by whether you leave comments or not.   I am so thankful for your support and friendship in my little corner blog land.

I’d like to share a few tree trimming memories with you, and snapshots of a few favorite ornaments on our tree.  I wish I could stop by and see your tree too, for those of you who have one up!

We collect the White House ornaments — and I LOVED living in Monterey.

I’m going to try and get some photos of our tree but I’m usually lousy at it. I did get photos of those two huge glitter balls Zack and I made!

Blessings to you and your lovely family, Cindy! I have been so thrilled to call you my friend. And I do hope that one day we will meet in person so that I can give you a big hug to thank you for always inspiring me. I love the way you see the world and how you are so open to sharing it.

Enjoy the day!

Ah…love the photos, and as I put each of my special ornaments on our tree, I thought of either the time I bought it in a far away place…or the happy hands who made it for me when she was 5….or the special person who lovingly wrapped it up and sent it to me!
That is what Christmas is ALL about isn’t it? The memories you’ve had, and those you are about to make!
Merry Christmas my dear Cindy! I’ve enjoyed every minute of 2010 with you =)

Merry Christmas, Cindy – to you & yours! I am sure it will be a fun time for your family. I enjoyed your photos, especially the first one with the boys figuring out the lights! Thanks for your email, you are so sweet with everything you have to do. I did make those cookies for my dad yesterday. They are wrapped up as a surprise and you can see them here ; ^ )))) lenna

Merry Christmas and happy holidays to you and your family as well Cindy 🙂

Those ornaments are beautiful! I love the eclectic mix of handmade, vintage, sentimental…I think that’s what makes the tree great! We’ve tried doing themed trees in the past, but you just miss the whole point of the tree-It’s SUPPOSED to be a mishmash of everything from past, present, and future ^.^

Merry Christmas to you Cindy and to your beautiful family. I am so happy to have met you this year, and my tree did get up finally! I hope to be able to post tomorrow since we will most likely be snowed in for the next 2 days! This is the first Christmas day snow we have had in a long time!

Merry, Merry Christmas to you and all your family! It’s been one of the special joys of being in the online community that you and I have made such a wonderful connection. I’m looking forward to many more collaborations this year and finally getting to meet you in person! Please give me a call some afternoon this week– if you can get a moment!– and we can “coffee-klatch” about the holidays and new ideas for 2011. Thanks for being such a good friend!

I haven’t been blog-hopping since before Christmas…have a lot of catching up to do! Wanted to wish you a Merry Christmas (a bit late) and thank you for all your encouragement, inspiration and advice 🙂 Here’s to a fabulous 2011!

Oh Misss Cindy,
Your tree looks wonderful & one of my favorite ornaments is the one you made with wire & beads. I’d never even thought about that, now I have to work on creating some over the New Year & add them as gift tags for my Christmas gifts!
Thank you friend for your sweet comment on my post about my brother. This year has been an amazing journey & I count meeting you & working with you on ArtBliss as a one of the many gifts I’ve received.
I wish you & your beautiful family a wonderful New Year filled with joy & laughter & LOVE!
Big Hugs,
Susie
