What’s new

bead-table-wednesday

Have you heard about Heather Power’s great new idea?  On Bead Table Wednesdays, we are all invited show a picture of our bead tables and a little glimpse in to what is  new in our corners of the beading world.  Stop by and join in!   I know, it’s Thursday but I still wanted to play along.  It was just too dark by the time I remembered to snap a photo last night.

I’m working on a custom-order, a bracelet with beautiful summery shades of blue.  Unfortunately I did a big restock on Swarovski crystal before the sale went on, but if you visit Artbeads by the 24th, you’ll be in luck!

Let’s see….in other bead-related happenings, I was thrilled to find out who my partner will be in the Bead Soup Blog Party.  I was paired with a phenomenal mixed-media jewelry artist, Amanda Davie.  I am excited about this challenge and I’m busy figuring out what to send to such a incredibly talented designer.

Today I met Jeanette for lunch and we took a site tour of a potential venue for the 2nd Annual ArtBLISS retreat in September.  We have big plans for this year’s event and we’re busy making plans.  For those of you who attended the Inaugural Event, and for those who would like to attend in the future, we would love to hear your thoughts.  We hope to make this retreat everything you’re hoping for and more.

Now I must run…my 6 year old son has a playdate with a classmate after school, including dinner.   I hear she is up to a Nerf battle…it could get crazy. 🙂

Beautiful shades of blues Cindy, reminds me of coastal waters. With all that was happening in Florida and the fact that I was basically unplugged, I missed the signups for the beadsoup blog party. I am so disappointed, maybe next time. Looking forward to seeing what everyone creates though!

The blues look wonderful! Deryn dropped a hint in an e-mail that I might see her at the next Art Bliss – yippee! I thought your inaugural event was awesome – can’t wait to see what you plans for this fall are 🙂

You go Little Mama!!!!!

Like everyone else I’m looking forward to seeing the finished piece. How cute your baby anvil is. 🙂 I have it’s twin sister sitting on my workbench except she is painted bright red!

As always, there are lots of things going on with you. Love those south sea blues on your table.

I’m already planning my class for ArtBliss! And thanks for the great project from Step by Step Wire Jewelry– I love what you did with those crystal drops and I just ordered some from Artbeads during the sale. I have some “Renaissance” cabochons that I’m going to string and incorporate your idea into the necklace. Your work is so great!
