Something white and something green

by Cindy on March 3, 2009

Guess what, we sure did get that snow!  Yesterday was a fun, out of the ordinary day.  My husband took off from work and stayed home to enjoy the big snow.  This was the most snow we had this year, and will probably be the last. 🙁  He made a crock pot full of chili, then he was off to sled with the kids.  We drove over to our property where we will be building the house.  The big hill of a backyard is good for something….sledding!  Look closely in this next picture.  Do you see the nest?  I wonder who might make it a home this spring?

Now that March is here, I’ve been thinking of the next holiday….St. Patrick’s Day!  Did you ever search for four-leaf clovers, then press them in the pages of a heavy book?  It brings back memories to find a crumbly old clover unexpectedly in a book that hasn’t been opened in years.  Here’s a necklace and some earrings made with handmade glass beads….just in case you’ve been looking for a little extra luck.  These will be listed in my etsy shop soon.
