Taking a new path

There’s going to be some changes here at sweet bead studio.  I thought I’d better fill you in before you’re taken by surprise.   The sweet bead studio website is celebrating it’s 2nd anniversary soon and it seems like yesterday that I was excited to  make that new start.  I was fortunate to work with the most fabulous web designer out there, Arianne, with Aeolidia.    Arianne has incredible web design talent and was was so patient and generous when working with a person like me.  And the graphics were created by Jessi, who at age 16 was thge person I sought out to create my logo.  Just look at her impressive portfolio.

I know I’m sounding a bit nostalgic here and with good reason.  After much consideration, I’ve decided to close my web site.  Wow, I actually said that.   It’s a hard decision to make, but the right one.  sweet bead studio will still be here!  My blog will function as my “website” and will be the place that I’ll continue to share information, photos, and link to my storefront (Etsy).  No sense in trying to update two places, both my site and Etsy, when I have new jewelry to list.  As you you can see my website has been poorly neglected.  As much as I’ve loved my website, I know its time for me to take a new path.  More on the next chapter of sweet bead studio to come soon!

It’s funny. I see where you’re coming from, but still seemed to think I needed to start a website. I of course haven’t done anything with it since starting it. Now I’m pissed I paid the $60 for the year subscription. I can’t even add photos that get bigger when you click them. it’s the basics of the basic website. geez.

I completely understand…it is hard keeping up with it all…I have a website and two etsy shops…but I neglect my etsy shops more than my site. I definitely think we live in a time when we should simplify and not complicate our lives…and I hope this path brings you much success and less stress. Beautiful photograph by the way!
