Summer break has officially started here!\u00a0\u00a0 The school year ended this week.\u00a0 Do you remember that wonderful feeling at the start of summer?\u00a0 Good times are ahead.\u00a0 I love this time of year.\u00a0 And as much as we love ice cream around here, we’ve already visited our local Friendly’s and Dairy Queen.\u00a0\u00a0Of course\u00a0Baskin Robbins\u00a0 will surely be a destination too. \ud83d\ude42\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n

Summer is going to the beach and diving into blue waters.
\nSwallows dart and jet through skies.
\nSummer brightens up my day.
\nChildren’s mouths wide open, as ice cream melts.
\nGrasshoppers jump all day long.
\nChildren scream and shout how wonderful
\nUntil summer slides away from me.<\/font> <\/font><\/p>\n

Amidst all the excitement of the last week of school, I’ve been busy here at sweet bead studio with a necklace and bracelet commission.\u00a0 It really is\u00a0fun creating with wire.\u00a0 I especially love the part when all of the wire links are created and I lay out all of the components to create the final design.\u00a0 Like a puzzle, I change pieces here and there until it is just right.\u00a0 You can see the new wire necklace in the Gallery.\u00a0 In the next day or two I will also post a few new necklaces in the Shop….and as you may have already noticed, I just love the color blue.\u00a0 Yes, I will be working with other colors in the rainbow very soon.\u00a0<\/p>\n
