This weekend I’m going to participate in the Seventh Annual Holiday Extravaganza Craft Festival.\u00a0 This will be my first time\u00a0showing at\u00a0this craft\u00a0fair, and I’m looking forward to it!\u00a0 I will\u00a0be sharing a table with\u00a0my\u00a0fellow\u00a0jewelry-making friend Chrissie<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0 If you are in the area, please come by.\u00a0 Here is the info:\u00a0 Thomas Jefferson High School for Information and Technology (6560 Braddock Rd., Alexandria), November 17th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.\u00a0<\/p>\n

I have\u00a0been busy creating new jewelry pieces for the show.\u00a0 I’ve had fun working with rich, autumn colors and trying a few new techniques.\u00a0 I was especially happy to incorporate a bead\u00a0style that I had been wanting to try for some time.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Some of you may recognize the “Twisted Tornado” style beads popularized by the artist Lisa Niven Kelly.\u00a0\u00a0There’s a bit of\u00a0everything here from wood and pearls to crystal and glass.\u00a0 Here are a few pieces that I hope to put in the sweet bead studio\u00a0shop before the show.\u00a0<\/p>\n
