I’ve been meme tagged<\/a>!\u00a0 Some of you may be familiar with this kind of on-line tagging, and since I’m new at blogging I knew I would participate.\u00a0 My friend Kerry over at Kab’s Creative Concepts <\/a>was thinking of me.\u00a0 Maybe she thought my neglected newbie blog needed a little help!\u00a0 So here we go ~ on to the questions and answers!<\/p>\n

\u00a01. \u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00c5\u201cWhat were you doing 10 years ago?\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00c2\u009d \u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00e2\u20ac\u0153 Living in Newport, Rhode Island.\u00a0 <\/span>I was taking taking a diversion from the field of social work, and worked in human resources as a recruiter.\u00a0 <\/span>Those were the days, living in Navy housing and enjoying the quaint local New England towns on the weekend.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span>\u00a02. \u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00c5\u201cWhat were you doing 1 year ago?\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00c2\u009d \u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00e2\u20ac\u0153 One son just finished his first year of preschool, the other completed Jr. Kindergarten, and the last little guy was close to two.\u00a0 <\/span>The older two started the junior swim team and nature camp.\u00a0 <\/span>It was the start our new routines for the summer!\u00a0 <\/span>I had been making jewelry for about a year then.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n3. \u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00c5\u201cFive snacks you enjoy:” \u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00e2\u20ac\u0153 Warm brownies, Mochi,<\/a> A big slice of chocolate cake with plenty of frosting, \u00a0<\/span>Hot crab dip (especially from Annapolis, MD), Chocolate chip cookie dough… as hard as it may be, I’ll follow the rules and limit my answer to five! <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

\n5. \u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00c5\u201cFive things you would do if you were a millionaire:\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00c2\u009d \u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00e2\u20ac\u0153 this one’s really tough for some reason.\u00a0 <\/span>I’ve been asked this many times and it’s hard to come up with anything more than the standard kind of reply, but if you insist… maybe a new construction home in the \u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00c5\u201cright\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00c2\u009d location (which can be asking a lot here in Northern VA) with my dream kitchen, a light-filled dedicated studio, a beautiful stone patio overlooking a wonderfully landscaped yard (blooming flowers, sprawling vines, and plush grass all maintained by a professional)… <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n6. \u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00c5\u201cFive bad habits:\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00c2\u009d \u00a0<\/span>Procrastination, enjoying way too many sweet things and too often (are you surprised about that one?), tolerating stacks of paperwork for too long, and staying up super late.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>7. “Five things you like doing:”\u00a0 <\/span>Strolls with my family, antique shopping, baking, collecting lampwork beads (just had to add that one!), going out with the family for ice cream. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
