<\/a><\/a><\/a><\/a><\/a><\/a><\/a><\/a>Hello!\u00a0 Welcome back from Thanksgiving break.\u00a0<\/p>\n

I’m not looking forward to the end of this wonderful break from the routine.\u00a0 I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!\u00a0 We had many little adventures around here, and I thought I’d share a few snippets (strange word when you think about it) with you.<\/p>\n

\u00a0Here are a pair of pups you’ll find snoozing around our house.\u00a0 In front and center and looking awfully cute is Hodgie, our 12 year old Shih Tzu.\u00a0 And right behind him the family Westie named Bentley, he’s 8.\u00a0 The door’s open to the screened in porch where they were basking in the warmth on Thanksgiving day.<\/p>\n

On Friday we were in for a bit of an adventure when we decided to take the train to Baltimore.\u00a0 It felt like trains, planes and automobiles by the time we arrived at the harbor…unlike the previous day, it was COLD!\u00a0 We’ll have to break out “Polar Express” after the train and light rail rides, the trains sure put us in the mood for the holidays.\u00a0<\/p>\n

<\/a>For those of you from around the\u00a0Baltimore area, you’ll appreciate this photo.\u00a0 I couldn’t resist capturing the Utz girl.\u00a0 These are the chips my Grandmother used to buy.<\/p>\n

\"The<\/p>\n

<\/a>On Saturday I had an incredibly special day.\u00a0 I finally met one of my favorite artists, Kim of k.t.’s creations (visit her gallery of beads here<\/a>).\u00a0 You have seen Kim’s lampwork beads in many of my jewelry designs and we\u00a0have been corresponding for quite some time.\u00a0 When I was invited to come down and talk “business” and pick up some beads in person, I didn’t hesitate!\u00a0 When we met I felt as if I had known her for years!\u00a0\u00a0 Then we spent the day with a show and tell of beads and jewelry, sharing stories, and dreaming up ideas for the future.\u00a0 She showed me her stash of artisan lampwork beads ~ and I recognized the names of many of the “big names”….but I have to say I thought her beads were just as stunning (especially her sculptural fish, horse and cat beads).\u00a0 Time just flew by.\u00a0 It would have been the perfect day if it weren’t for the Thanksgiving traffic I hit going home on 95!\u00a0 For those that had to travel over the holiday, I really feel for you!\u00a0 Here is a picture that I couldnt’ resist sharing.\u00a0 This is Kim’s pride and joy, her Oldenburg named Fable (with Diamond behind her).<\/p>\n

<\/a>And last but not least, to kick off the Christmas season, Randy\u00a0made fruitcake with the boys.\u00a0 All in the name of family tradition.<\/p>\n
