Now on to a few traditional<\/em> bookmarks!\u00a0 Just thought I’d show you a few beaded things I made over the holidays.\u00a0 I wanted to give the teachers something handmade to go along with a bookstore gift card.\u00a0 It was fun picking themes for the teachers and family.\u00a0\u00a0 I gave my sister a horse-themed bookmar with\u00a0a new bridle.\u00a0 And my sister-in-law received one with a garden theme to go along with a few books.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 When I asked my oldest son what his teacher likes, he had an answer right away – dragonflies!\u00a0 I found this great idea <\/a>for dragonfly earrings over at Artbeads and adapted\u00a0it fo\u00a0my bookmark.\u00a0 If you’d like to create your own theme bookmark, you’ll\u00a0want to check out\u00a0the site where I ordered mine – \u00a0Primitive Earth Beads\u00a0<\/a>– they have\u00a0bookmarks in so many different styles and\u00a0in finishes\u00a0from copper to brass!<\/p>\n
