Today was a\u00a0fantastic\u00a0one <\/span>for our family.\u00a0 Our 7 year old son celebrated his First Communion.\u00a0 My little guy had been anticipating this day\u00a0for so long, and when he woke up this morning he said it was the best day of his life!\u00a0 I just love that excitment.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0I had planned to make a rosary to give my son on\u00a0this special day, and let him pick the components – the crucifix, centerpiece, and which stones to use.\u00a0 I highly recommend Lewis and Company <\/a>if you find yourself looking for rosary components in the future.\u00a0 I really like how\u00a0the cross can be engraved with the child’s name and date.\u00a0 I ordered from them when I made this rosary <\/a>last year.\u00a0 My son chose turquoise, a stone that I do not work with often.\u00a0 I was lucky to have the opportunity to hand-select the beads when I was at Bead Fest Wire a few weeks ago.<\/p>\n
