Halloween 2008!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Happy Halloween to all of you ghosts and goblins out there!\u00a0 I know it&#8217;s late in the afternoon, but I&#8217;m happy to be able to finally post something short and sweet here.\u00a0 I was having USB-port connection problems, but luckily it was fixed in the nick of time.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>I wanted to share a few pictures before the older kids come home and we&#8217;re in the made rush to eat dinner and change in to our costumes.\u00a0 I may have mentioned before that there are just a few times a year that I like to create holiday-themed jewelry&#8230;Halloween is definitely one of them.\u00a0 The potential for creative\/amazing\/adorable lampwork beads is incredible.\u00a0 Here is a long necklace with tons of handmade lampwork beads and sterling silver.\u00a0 I wanted this to be a piece that could be easily worn over a sweater and even in lieu of a costume.\u00a0 A real holiday keepsake.\u00a0 I had so much fun I made two!\u00a0 The lampwork beads are by Snozberry beads and the rest were a gift from Marilyn of Novelty Beads.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sweetbeadstudio.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/10\/halloween-necklace-08.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-411  aligncenter\" is a close up of the detail.\u00a0 Just look at the witch that Marilyn created&#8230;a long, pointy nose and individual strands of hair.\u00a0 And look at that worried-looking Frankenstein complete with stitches.\u00a0 These ladies are very talented with hot glass.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sweetbeadstudio.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/10\/necklace-close-up.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-412  aligncenter\" attended my 4 year-old&#8217;s school Halloween Party.\u00a0 Here is a picture from their parade.\u00a0 Remember when I was worried about finding a Bunny costume in a size 4?\u00a0 Well that very week I found one at Marshall&#8217;s of all places.\u00a0 He loves this costume!\u00a0 Now he can be the pirate bunny that he always wanted to be.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sweetbeadstudio.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/10\/halloween-bunny.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-413  aligncenter\" next&#8230;.. the cutest little pumpkin of all.\u00a0 Here is my new little guy celebrating his very first Halloween.\u00a0 Just 19 days old.\u00a0 I couldn&#8217;t resist dolling him up for a photo
