With just\u00a0a little over a week away, every spare moment in my life seems to be focused on the much anticipated ArtBLISS Inaugural Event<\/a>!<\/p>\n

Before I go any further though, for those of you who CANNOT make this event, we have more<\/em> good things to come!\u00a0 Jeanette and I are already planning next year’s big retreat and if you can’t wait til then, we have a few fantastic late winter\/early spring workshops penciled in too!\u00a0 We hope to bring a little something for everyone to metropolitan DC area!<\/p>\n

Our marvelous instructors have been hard at work, preparing for their classes.\u00a0 Deryn Mentock recently shared a few beautiful class project pictures over on her blog<\/a>.\u00a0 I’ll be\u00a0working with metal and vintage tintypes in\u00a0Deryn’s\u00a0\u00a0Crowned Gems <\/a>class myself!\u00a0 And stop over to Kerry Bogert’s blog <\/a>today….you’ll be in for a visual treat!\u00a0 Kerry shares a peek at the INCREDIBLE limited edition beads she has created just for the ArtBLISS event.\u00a0 Her students will be happy to find these fabulous beads are a part of her Bang-a-rang<\/a>\u00a0class kits!\u00a0 And lucky for us, she’s bringing extra sets to sell at the Meet and Greet reception!\u00a0 Hey Kerry, hold\u00a0a set\u00a0for me!!<\/p>\n

We have a special guest visiting us at the Inaugural Event!\u00a0 Angela Finet from our extremely popular local stamp store, Angela’s Happy Stamper <\/a>will be present.\u00a0 Angela will bring loads of papercrafting goodies for sale at the Meet and Greet.\u00a0 On Saturday afternoon, retreat participants will be treated to a demo and Make-and-Take.\u00a0 Angela will be showing us how to decorate tags with the\u00a0new Shimmer Sprays from Tsukeniko.\u00a0 We have a weekend full of fun and creativity planned!\u00a0 <\/strong>If you don’t hear from me much in the next week or so, you’ll know why!\u00a0<\/div>\n
