I was lucky to\u00a0spend a wonderful evening with a friend over the weekend.\u00a0 \u00a0Lori Anderson <\/a>was up for a show, and we went out for dinner afterwards for a little girlfriend time.\u00a0 We had the best time chatting, and the best dessert afterwards.\u00a0 Jamaican Coconut Pie at Bonefish Grille\u00a0was served warm with a rum sauce, and every little bite\u00a0was just scrumptious<\/em>. Well we made a little jaunt to Baltimore to hit a few antique\/salvage destinations.\u00a0 It was unusually easy since my parents took the older 3 boys to Hershey Park, PA for the day.\u00a0 So with just the baby and Hodgie, we were on our way.\u00a0 Just look at\u00a0his smile!\u00a0 It says, “I’m going antiquing with Mommy and Daddy!”\u00a0 I’m really kidding, but actually he endured it and seemed to have fun too.\u00a0<\/p>\n

If you love architectural salvage and quirky finds, and you’re anywhere near Baltimore, you’ll want to visit \u00a0Housewerks<\/a>.\u00a0 Click on the link and you’ll see just what an incredible<\/span> shop this really is.\u00a0 Housewerks is housed in Bayard Station which was a part of the Chesapeake Gas Works in the late 1800s.\u00a0 They actually host weddings and private events here…and I saw that they\u00a0will be \u00a0having a Halloween party too!\u00a0 Now I know it would be a super spooky place decked out for Halloween – I saw the basement!<\/p>\n

Oh\u00a0there was great amounts of rust\u00a0everywhere!\u00a0 It was fun\u00a0taking pictures of old locker doors and\u00a0 ironwork.\u00a0 Walking out on the back balcony, there was a stunning and beautiful statue of the Holy Mother and Child.\u00a0\u00a0A plaque at the base stated that this statue was a memorial from a Mother and\u00a0Father to their beloved son who lived\u00a0from the 1930’s to the 50’s.\u00a0 \u00a0I wondered how this statue ended up here, and felt sad.<\/p>\n
