width=\"300\" height=\"223\" \/><\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;re planning on some doing some holiday baking, why not\u00a0make these traditional favorites?\u00a0 Yes, they do take some time, but they are certainly worth it!\u00a0 I remember my Grandmother would come at Christmas time bearing tins of thin, crisp cut-out cookies and chocolate chip cookies&#8230;.Santa&#8217;s favorites, so I hear.\u00a0 This recipe will be worth your while because it makes 5 dozen cookies (depending on your cookie cutter size)!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Rolled Sugar Cookies<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">1 1\/2 cups butter, softened<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">2 cups sugar<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">4 eggs<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">1 tsp. vanilla extract<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">5 cups all-purpose flour<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">2 tsp. baking powder<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">1 tsp. salt<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">1.\u00a0 Cream butter and sugar together until smooth in a large bowl.\u00a0 Beat in eggs and vanilla.\u00a0 Stir in flour, baking powder, and salt.\u00a0 Chill dough for at least one hour or over night.\u00a0 I divided the dough into 4 separate balls and covered in Saran Wrap.\u00a0 I also put them in the freezer for a while to speed up the process.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">2.\u00a0 Preheat oven to 400 degrees (depends on your oven, but I baked mine at 375 instead).\u00a0 Roll out dough on floured surface (floured wax paper works great) about 1\/4 inch thick.\u00a0 Cut into shapes with cookie cutters.\u00a0 Place cookies an inch apart on ungreased cookie sheets.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">3.\u00a0 Bake 6 to 8 minutes in preheated oven.\u00a0 I removed them\u00a0from the baking sheets right away, then let cool on the counter.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">These cookies freeze well&#8230;it&#8217;s a wise idea to hide them in the freezer anyway or they&#8217;ll be gone before you know it.\u00a0 \u00a0\ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<p style=\"text-align:
