friends!<\/p>\n<p>Ah, Valentine&#8217;s Day&#8230;.already here so soon!\u00a0 Does this holiday bring back memories of handmade cards and boxes of chocolate?\u00a0 Last month while out and about antiquing, I saw many sweet old boxes of chocolate and couldn&#8217;t resist snapping a few pictures (knowing I would share them with you on Valentine&#8217;s Day).\u00a0 Who\u00a0gave these boxes of chocolate originally?\u00a0 And isn&#8217;t it amazing that someone held on to them for so long?\u00a0 They must have been seriously yummy chocolates or from a very special suitor.<\/p>\n<p these companies are in existence any longer&#8230;.except this last one, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.royalcrestdairy.com\/Shared\/CompanyHistory.aspx\">Royal Crest Dairy<\/a>.\u00a0 Royal Crest Dairy seems to be alive and well out in Colorado.<\/p>\n<p>On Friday,\u00a0 my 6-year old son pulled a carefully-folded red construction paper card out of his backpack and asked me if\u00a0he could give me his card early.\u00a0 It was clear he wasn&#8217;t going to take no for an answer.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0He was so proud that his handprint cut-outs \u00a0inside the card made the shape of a heart.\u00a0 Underneath the handprints I found\u00a0a picture of him taken from picture day back in the Fall (oh his teacher is so clever and I&#8217;ll have to thank her for this!).\u00a0 These are those little
