{"id":6023,"date":"2011-05-02T01:04:55","date_gmt":"2011-05-02T05:04:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.sweetbeadstudio.com\/?p=6023"},"modified":"2011-05-02T01:04:55","modified_gmt":"2011-05-02T05:04:55","slug":"these-guys-make-me-proud","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.sweetbeadstudio.com\/?p=6023","title":{"rendered":"These guys make me proud!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hello everyone!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Thanks<\/strong> to all who stopped by recently to share their story of how they named their blogs&#8230;.I enjoyed reading each and <em>every<\/em> entry. \u00a0If you are just stopping by, please share your blogging naming stories <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sweetbeadstudio.com\/?p=6004\">here<\/a>, I&#8217;d love to hear your story too!<\/p>\n<p>It was a big family weekend at the beach. \u00a0First I joined <a href=\"http:\/\/lorianderson.blogspot.com\/\">Lori<\/a> for dinner en route to the shore with two of my sons. \u00a0I finally had the opportunity to see her beautiful to-die-for studio in person AND see her incredible bead storage unit (and the amazing collection of beads organized inside). \u00a0I&#8217;m crazy about my vintage storage pieces, but her storage unit has me thinking that really may be the way to go!<\/p>\n<p>The opportunities for my siblings and parents to get together seem to happen less and less, so this\u00a0weekend was special. \u00a0My Dad has been preparing for the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nanticokeriverswimandtri.com\/event\/information\">Nanticoke Swim and Triathlon<\/a>, going to the pool at 5:00 a.m. before work to swim every day. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0He&#8217;s been preparing for the 3-mile open water swim portion and my brother decided to join him. \u00a0Flying in from Florida, my brother and one of his sons joined us at the beach for a mini family get together.<\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"attachment wp-att-6024\" href=\"http:\/\/www.sweetbeadstudio.com\/?attachment_id=6024\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-6024\" title=\"mikeandconnor\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sweetbeadstudio.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/mikeandconnor.jpg\" alt=\"mikeandconnor\" width=\"515\" height=\"673\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.sweetbeadstudio.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/mikeandconnor.jpg 515w, http:\/\/www.sweetbeadstudio.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/mikeandconnor-150x196.jpg 150w, http:\/\/www.sweetbeadstudio.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/mikeandconnor-229x300.jpg 229w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 515px) 100vw, 515px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>My sister, my little guy, and I watched the race from a point on the rocks. \u00a0I was filled with admiration for each and every swimmer as I watched them, fighting the current and choppy water to keep moving. \u00a0Not to mention the cold water!
