{"id":687,"date":"2009-02-27T09:25:20","date_gmt":"2009-02-27T16:25:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.sweetbeadstudio.com\/?p=687"},"modified":"2009-02-27T09:25:20","modified_gmt":"2009-02-27T16:25:20","slug":"glass-artist-spotlight","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.sweetbeadstudio.com\/?p=687","title":{"rendered":"Glass Artist Spotlight"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>What makes handmade jewelry so special?\u00a0 Unlike mass produced jewelry, each component is selected piece by piece.\u00a0 Oftentimes the jewelry I create contains what are called (in this community) <strong>art beads<\/strong>.\u00a0 These beads may be ceramic, clay, glass, or porcelain or made from other materials.\u00a0 Art beads are all made with\u00a0skill and attention to detail by someone who loves their craft.\u00a0\u00a0 So that you can have a tiny peek behind the scenes around here, I wanted to introduce you to one such artist, Marilyn Jones of <a href=\"http:\/\/beads.east-tennessee.com\/index.htm\">Novelty Beads<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Although Marilyn works full time, her favorite joys are her Grandchildren, her motorcycle, and working with glass.\u00a0 There&#8217;s really no stopping Marilyn;
