How was your weekend?<\/p>\n

As I type, it is snowing outside.\u00a0 You may have heard about the wintry storm hitting us here on the East Coast.\u00a0 I’m crossing my fingers that it will be enough to cancel school tomorrow.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Today was a nice, slow day.\u00a0 After church this morning we enjoyed fellowship and meeting new friends at the pancake breakfast.\u00a0 We are so spoiled with all of the activities (Mardi Gras parties, spaghetti dinners, donut Sundays, pancake breakfasts…), that my 4 year old asks, “Are we going to the cafeteria after mass(assuming there will be some eating involved!)?”\u00a0 There’s really no\u00a0cafeteria,\u00a0<\/em>just the\u00a0fellowship hall.\u00a0 Lacrosse practice was cancelled due to the weather, so I came up with something else to do this afternoon.\u00a0 Why not make pizza!\u00a0 With homemade dough.\u00a0 We haven’t done that in a while, and let me tell you it was so yummy that we almost finished up the entire rectangle and heart shaped pizzas that we made.\u00a0 If you’d like to try one too, you’ll find the thick and doughy recipe here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Yesterday I paid a very expensive trip to Barnes and Nobles.\u00a0 The latest Spring ’09 bead\/jewelry\/art magazines are out!!\u00a0 I picked up one, then another, then another……<\/p>\n

Oh so many wonderful projects and interviews in these pages!\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 It made the world feel just a bit smaller to recognize so many of the contributors, from artists whose jewelry I admire and artists whose blogs I enjoy reading.\u00a0 I thought I’d provide a list here of some of my favorites, in case you had\u00a0a moment\u00a0and wanted to persue their beautiful sites.\u00a0 You’ll be\u00a0impressed.\u00a0 \u00a0Of course, there are many\u00a0unfamiliar artists that I can’t wait to get\u00a0to know too.<\/p>\n
