{"id":8021,"date":"2012-02-19T15:04:56","date_gmt":"2012-02-19T19:04:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.sweetbeadstudio.com\/?p=8021"},"modified":"2012-02-19T15:04:56","modified_gmt":"2012-02-19T19:04:56","slug":"bead-shopping","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.sweetbeadstudio.com\/?p=8021","title":{"rendered":"Bead Shopping!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.intergem.com\/\">International Gem and Jewelry Show<\/a>\u00a0is in town. \u00a0It&#8217;s been <em>so<\/em> long since I went last&#8230;I haven&#8217;t needed any more beads with all of the beads I have stock piled here (sound familiar?). \u00a0 However&#8230;. one of my sons will be making his First Communion this Spring and I realized I had better start looking for the right beads now. \u00a0The last time I was shopping for rosary beads, I had fun looking for them in person at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sweetbeadstudio.com\/?p=3117\">Bead Fest Wire.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>So on the way to school Friday morning, I handed my son a Fire Mountain Gems catalogue to look over bead types and colors. \u00a0 I especially recommend this catalogue to beginners who are just learning the names of bead shapes and types of stones, as FMG is happy to send out a free 400+ page print catalogue &#8211; Usually I&#8217;m in such a rush, or it used to be that I had a baby in the Baby Bjorn with me (and they sure get heavy after a few hours!). \u00a0I enjoyed spending time chatting with <a href=\"http:\/\/makebraceletsblog.com\/\">Tracy Statler<\/a> while there. \u00a0 It is really neat when I get to visit with people from our online community<em> in person<\/em>!<\/p>\n<p>Would you like to see what I brought home?
