Did you enjoy that beautiful weather today??\u00a0 And it’s going to be a beautiful Saturday too!<\/p>\n

I haven’t had the chance to slow down all week and post on the blog, but here I am now.\u00a0 And yes, it’s 1:00 a.m.\u00a0 If you know me, you’re probably not surprised.\u00a0 I do have a few pretty jewelry trinkets to share to make up for my absence!<\/p>\n

I really love the colors in this first necklace.\u00a0 My inspiration was this sweet, heart-shaped\u00a0porcelain focal by Nancy of Round Rabbit<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0 Come to think of it, this is the second time I’ve used one of her heart pendants for a necklace.\u00a0 Remember this one<\/a>?\u00a0\u00a0 The glaze in this pendant was complemented by pearls, smokey quartz, wood and copper beads.\u00a0\u00a0 I had planned to oxidize this piece once I was finished, but that shiny copper colored wire\u00a0turned out to be just perfect left the way it is.<\/p>\n

I really like this next piece….so much so that you’ll see it soon in another photo here on my blog. \ud83d\ude42\u00a0\u00a0 Vintage, edgy, romantic, wouldn’t you say?\u00a0 I created a coiled bail from stainless steel wire, complete with a large Swarovski cosmic crystal, pearl and chain dangles.\u00a0 I used some great crystal rondelles and antiqued stainless chain that I found on Etsy.\u00a0 There are so many great suppliers on Etsy to turn to when you’re feeling creative!<\/p>\n

And speaking of Etsy, I received these ceramic pieces from Summers Studio <\/a>in the mail today.\u00a0\u00a0The beads and pendants were packaged so nice and spiffy!\u00a0\u00a0The colors are beautiful….can’t wait to use them in a future creation.<\/p>\n

I received another package today….containing something extra special inside.\u00a0 I ordered this sterling crucifix and center medallion to make a rosary for my son’s upcoming First Communion.\u00a0 I have never made a rosary before and can’t wait to make something this\u00a0important by hand.\u00a0 I’ll be sure to post a picture of the rosary soon once it’s finished.<\/p>\n
