First "artistic" moment... The first time that I was called an 'artist' was after winning the local paper's Tooth Fairy drawing contest. :-)
Places I have lived... In order: Japan, California, Maryland, Philippines, Louisiana, California, Guam, Germany, Virginia, Maryland, Virginia, Maryland, California, Rhode Island, and back home to Virginia!
I love... The sounds of summer, happy endings, collecting sea shells and sea glass, a date with a friend for coffee, my children's drawings, April 8th, "exploring" on long walks, lampwork beads, a Shih Tzu named Hodgie, baking with the boys, milkshakes, old photographs, quaint harbor towns, my three sons.
A dream weekend... Picking a small town that I've never visited...stopping into a few antique stores, hoping to find vintage treasures...enjoying a picnic lunch...then finding the local bakery for the biggest brownie that I can find (hopefully the middle piece!).
