Have you seen it?? The cover of Lori Anderson’s upcoming Bead Soup book was just revealed!
This book is going to be amazing…just looking at the cover, I am already drawn in! I am excited to share that I helped both as a tutorial contributor and with photography. I really enjoyed spending hours over the spring and summer taking photos of the bead mixes, arranging them in their soup bowls just so. 🙂 I’m looking forward to the release of the book this Fall, and I’m so proud of Lori for this great accomplishment – her first book!

If you have not already seen the post, you can head over to Lori’s blog and see the details, PLUS the full list of contributors involved in the making of the book.

We’re back from a great long weekend – filled with family time and snow. We stole away to the slopes where we spent time together – skiing and tubing. The cousins were reunited and the younger ones skied for the first time. Lots of photo moments for me and my trusty camera!

These two are just 8 days apart – real partners in crime.

More cousins!

Goin’ for a ride!

My Dad and brother.

PopPop the ski instructor.

Now it’s back to reality, but our hearts are filled with many new memories.
Thank you for stopping by!

I’m happy to share that our friend and author extraordinaire, Barbara Lewis, has been the featured Guest Curator over at Crescendoh all week! As you may know, Jenny Doh is the creator of an inspiring series known as Art Saves. Artists from every sort of background are featured and their personal art journeys are shared. Read Barbara’s post here, and learn about how her Grandmother helped shape who she is as an artist today.
As part of Barbara’s Art Saves piece, she shared 15 different blog posts from the art community that she found inspiring. I was thrilled that Barbara included one of my posts in her feature this weekend, along with one from my sweet friend, Diane Cook. Please visit Barbara’s post on Art Saves, and you’ll see why she so wisely advises us “to accept all good things that come your way, when they come your way, and with no regrets as to their timing!”.
