Time for celebrating!

by Cindy on May 9, 2009

Today was beautiful in many ways….we celebrated our son’s First Communion.  Our big guy has been preparing for this special day for quite some time and he woke up a little nervous but mainly very excited.  There was a large group of First Communicants and it was so sweet to see all of the girls dressed in white with their veils, and the boys wearing their suit and ties.

You can see in this family photo that Gabriel is proudly carrying his rosary.  I was so happy to finish this a few weeks ago in time for his formal portrait.  This rosary was made with love and included several components that I chose specifically for him… his name and year is engraved on the back of the crucifix, the amethyst Swarovski crystals were used for his favorite color purple, and I chose a St. Gabriel center piece for the archangel that he is named after.

And for all of you Mother’s out there….here’s to YOU!  I hope you enjoy your day!

Cindy, these pictures are priceless as is the absolutely stunning rosary! Gabriel looks so sweet holding it in the photo! This photo must have been before the “cake dropping” incident! Beautiful family! Love, Madeline

The rosary you made for Gabriel is absolutley beautiful Cindy, and something he will have from you FOREVER. How very, very special.
And, your family photos are always so inspiring to me. Perhaps it is because I see so much hope in your young sons faces. You have the hardest job on this earth, and I am very impressed that you have any time to design jewelry at all. And, with a baby too!
God Bless you Cindy, you are my inspiration!
