Happy Weekend!

Here is a little burst of color for you.  These crystal pairs were made into earrings.  Which one is your favorite color?  For you purple lovers, I’m sorry but I just used the crystal I just so happened to have on hand.  I wanted to stock up on earrings for my trunk show today.  Actually, I should call it a jewelry tray show.  I am fortunate to have a great group of customers who are school administrators and teachers.  My gracious friend drops off a tray of jewelry at the school every few months and the ladies get to peruse the pieces when they get a chance throughout the day.  It couldn’t be a better arrangement for me, I don’t have to worry about selling (the part I’m not fond of), and the ladies can try on the jewelry at their own convenience.

I am up late finishing up another super long, detailed necklace.  I hope to have a picture to share with you in the next few days. 

Tomorrow I’ll be heading to Old Town to take a jewelry-related class.  I am looking forward to learning some brand new techniques this year, and the first in the workshop line-up is PMC, Precious Metal Clay.   Discovering something new is what keeps jewelry designing interesting.
