Happy Thanksgiving!

Hope this finds you enjoying a WONDERFUL Thanksgiving Day (if you’re stopping by from the US – or even abroad and celebrating).  Are you getting ready to cook?  Do you have an oven full of delicious food  and a house full of  that incredible aroma?  Or are you nearly passed out from over-eating all of those yummy dishes that you waited all year to eat?

After my son’s Kindergarten Thanksgiving Feast, we packed up and took a long drive south.  We’re known to take a nice day trip to see the local sites….but this time, we went a little further.  Can you guess where we stopped en route to our Thanksgiving destination?

We took a quick tour through Savannah, Georgia today!  We are a long way from home.  I would love to come back to this city…there are SO many beautiful things to see there.

We’ve reached our final destination (as “GPS girl” says), and we’re in Florida.  We’ll be celebrating the holiday with my brother, sister-in-law, and my 2 little nephews.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving.   And safe travels to all who are traveling!

I stopped by your blog in hopes of finding some Thanksgiving pictures and wasn’t disappointed! WOW! Florida! That is a long drive but your boys are used to driving and sightseeing! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving with Mike and Audra and the boys! I pray you have some nice warm weather and I look forward to seeing your photos!

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your beautiful family! Walter and I are celebrating with turkey and all the trimmings and the pups are quite enamored of the turkey as well!

Your pictures are always so interesting and I did guess Savannah, GA! Being an Air Force wife included a stay in Valdosta, Ga. for two years and I loved it. Have a great stay with your family in Florida and eat lots of turkey!

Hi Cindy!

I love taking a visit to your blog. I love the photos of your boys and adventures. I can’t believe I was in DC and you were in Florida! At least our paths came close to crossing. We are back home now, but enjoyed our week+ of sightseeing, oohing and ahhing. I think my favorite place was Williamsburg, VA.

Cindy, hope your travels are safe and the time with your family full of cheer. Is it warm in Florida? I guessed you had stopped in Savannah when I saw the picture of the trees. What a beautiful city! Happy Late Thanksgiving!

Some day I would love to visit Savannah…so much history, wonderful buildings and I bet a lot of treasures to be found. Your boys are so precious. I bet they keep you very busy. Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family and that your journey home is safe.
