Hello
Did you have a soggy weekend wherever you are? Even though it called for rain, my Dad and I took the kids on a quick trip to the beach. The trip to the beach wasn’t actually the quick part. If you’re familiar with the DC area, you know what traffic is like leaving town on a Friday during rush hour, magnified by rainy conditions. But it was worth it to wake up on a Saturday morning far from home and so close to the ocean. The weekend started out full of puddles, but the sun peeked out by the afternoon.
If you’ve stopped by my blog since last summer, you’ll know I do go a bit crazy taking beach pictures….I can’t resist. Here are my very first of the season….nothing like getting started in March! Now with the time change though, it really feels like Spring is just around the corner. Won’t be long til I can put on my sandals just like my son who you’ll see below! 😉

Thanks for stopping by & have a great week ahead!

What would I give to live close to a beach! Sigh! I hope you are all feeling better now – the boys look like it, anyway. This morning, we have a mix of rain and snow coming down, so I will just dream of walking along the shore with you…
great pictures from a cool day!! kids look so happy!!
What fun and so early in the year. I don’t live to far from the beach (about and hour and a half away) but I wouldn’t think of braving those chilly winds till at least the end on May, brrr!!!
Like the way you think! Ah spring, beach, warm weather. Like the boys and especially their sandals…
Oh how fun!! What a great way to spend the weekend. I love to look at your lovely photography, especially when it is of your boys! ~Nancy
