Snapshots

by Cindy on March 27, 2010

Hello friends

I’m so happy it’s the weekend!  This is the start of Spring Break for my oldest son, but the other two are on break the following week.  Who said life would be synchronized?  I’m finding that out more than ever now that lacrosse season is in full swing and I need to be in 3 places at once!

Just thought I’d share a few snapshots from my day –

  • Kindergarten science fair project – will it sink or float?

  • Enjoying the birds who stop by the birdfeeders….mourning doves are our most frequent customers (and even the squirrels have found a way to hang on to this feeder!)

  • Visited with Lori Anderson who was in the area for the Craftmen’s Classic.  (pssst….stop by and wish her a Happy Birthday on Monday!)

Hope you have a FANTASTIC weekend & thanks for stopping by!

aaah, yes… somehow even multi-tasking falls short when one has to physically be 2 or 3 places at once… i am really struggling with that this year – 3 kids, 3 different schools, etc, etc… just keep breathing – it’s all you can do! do your parents live nearby or are there friends whose kids play lacrosse or whatever too? start splitting rides with people when you can…
i love science fair projects, my bird & squirrel feeders and your blog! so nice that you got to visit with lori…
have a great weekend!

Nice photo of the mourning dove. We have them here too along with some cardinals and tons of cute little finches. I always set out a lot of thistle to attract them.
Have a lovely spring.

Oh, I love the pictures … all of them … but especially your son’s “science” project. The dreaded science fair … of course for science types it’s probably not dreaded. One mother said to me, “I think we should trade and rotate science fair projects like we do halloween costumes.” Genius!

Oh, I love your son’s writing on the Big Chief tablet =)
And, I do love mourning doves, and their beautiful sounds…..we have some in our back yard.
Yep, the squirrels are the most clever little things! Always trying to get the feed out of the bird feeders~LOL!
