Family Celebrations

It’s Monday night (late!) already and I haven’t had a chance to share some pics from the weekend! Today was so crazy, which is an understatement when your car battery dies twice in one day! Needless to say 1) taking the kids to school and then picking them up at the end of the day were impacted and 2) the car is now in the shop! I can’t have unreliability with everything going on right now! :-O

The weekend started off great with my oldest son’s 8th birthday! On Friday we celebrated his birthday with kids from his class at a fun bounce facility (first time we didn’t host the party at home, but we’re in the middle of a move!)…and a little “Wall-e” theme mixed in. Here’s our birthday boy!

And the family birthday excitement grew the very next day with the birth of my new nephew! My brother and his wife welcomed their second little boy on October 4th. If only he wasn’t in CA…I can’t wait to get my hands on him, that adorable little tamale bundle!

And…my little sis has a long-awaited member to add to her animal family. She is now the proud owner of a beautiful horse named Deuce. Look at those soulful eyes. Isn’t he a charmer?
