Our Sweet Addition is Here!

Hello Friends

The lack of posts here on my end did NOT mean I had nothing new to report! On the contrary, there has been so much going on that I just didn’t get a chance to update the site. I have some wonderful news to report: our son Nathaniel was born last weekend on October 12th!🙂 He is a beautiful, dark haired little guy who I just fell in love with immediately. He is the 4th in the proud line of little “Wimmer Boys”. His brothers have been very dear with him, and my 4 year old sweetly calls him “Afaniel”. He came almost 2 weeks “early” so we were a bit surprised. That day I had gone shopping all afternoon at the Leesburg outlets and then visited my sister and her new horse at a country stable. I had no idea what I would be in for that night….

As it turns out last weekend was also the weekend for our BIG move. We are moving locally and my husband had been packing up a truck all day. He showed up at the hospital around 11:30 p.m. in a 24′ moving truck! Getting in to the parking garage was impossible. The baby was born at 5:30 the next morning and it was probably the easiest delivery I’ve had yet. We have so much to be thankful for…and will laugh about all the chaos that weekend one day! So for now I’m staying with my parents for another week or so and will move in to our temporary rental soon. We will be building our dream house, and that will take almost a year! I’d love to share some pictures, but my computer/camera cable is packed. I’ll hopefully post some pictures soon. For now, I found this sweet sketch that really reminds me of Nathaniel.
