Aw, thanks!

I can’t tell you when I won an award last.  The only award I would probably win these days would have to do with being a mini-van driving Mom with the the most boys in tow! 🙂

Much to my surprise, Moon Stumpp  of Mixed Media Jewelry passed  this “Your Blog is Fabulous” award on to me.  I’m hardly a blogger, but I gladly accept it!   I have “known” Moon for quite some time.  She makes incredible lampwork beads that are full of detail and cool color combinations.  I just so happen to have a project that involves her beads that will be revealed – I hope- over the summer!!

I would like to pass on this award to two special ladies who have had an influence in my pursuit of creativity  in the world of jewelry design.  I have been following their blogs for a very long time. 

Kerry Bogert of KABS Creative Concepts.  I’ve been a fan of Kerry’s blog since the very beginning of my jewelry designing days …going on four years  now.  When you visit Kerry’s blog you’ll be drawn right in to her world at a personal level….and  you’ll be amazed at her range of work (from lampwork beads and wirework jewelry to beautiful knit projects and mixed media collage).  I’m so proud to call her a friend!

Deryn Mentock of Something Sublime.  I have been following Deryn’s blog for quite some time now too.  Her work is captivating.  Deryn inspires many of us not only through her beautiful blog, but by generously sharing her work in publications and as an instructor (too bad she’s no where near the East Coast!).  Deryn’s blog is visually sensational, and sure does wonders for your mind and spirit as well.
