Memorial Day weekend is here already!  Time is sure flying by.  What are your special plans and traditions this weekend?  Our neighborhood has a great Memorial Day parade with decorated bikes and trikes, and the official opening of the pool.  We will be heading to the beach, however.  While reflecting on the tradition of Memorial Day, I went searching for some roots.  I have found some interesting bits of history here,  and invite you to take a look.  If you take a moment to visit the Image Gallery, you will experience a very moving glimpse in time.
