Happy Colors
by Cindy on August 14, 2012
Hello!
At long last I am back, and I’m here to share a selection of colors that make me happy.
Happy Colors #1 – found in this photo announcing the winner of my 6th Bead Soup Blog Party bracelet.

CONGRATS to Sherri Stokey of Knot Just Macrame! You’ll have to see Sherri’s work – it is beautiful and I’ve enjoyed perusing her blog and Etsy shop.
Happy Colors #2 – bunchs of beads! These were purchased at my first Rings & Things show earlier in the summer. Their show was right near my husband’s office so he met me in the parking lot to watch the kids while I shopped for an hour. As you know, you gotta squeeze in beads when you can! 🙂

Happy Colors #3 – the colors of the water and our bright red kayaks. We’re thinking of buying a 3rd soon. And to think there was a time when we all fit in ONE kayak just a few years ago!

Happy Colors #4 – Okay, maybe this isn’t fair. But I couldn’t resist taking a picture of these chocolate cupcakes. The rainbow colors of sprinkles are not just for kids!

I hope you are enjoying your summer and the Happy Colors that are surrounding YOU today!

Posts from you always make me happy! We are on the Mississippi this week wandering around the river cities…..the lush green and all the beautiful flowers have been such a welcome compared to our dried up and brown landscape in Iowa. I am enjoying traveling the backroads looking at rural farming amongst the bluffs and hills.
I’m loving your colors dear friend…but the cupcakes are making me hungry..heehee!! Mine are already back to school…Ugh..This summer flew by!! xoxo Cat
That’s a lovely shot of color for me on a grey almost rainy day here.
Lovely to be out on the water with the family. Yep, time for a third kayak if you can haul three. And how did you manage to do Ring-n-Things in one hour! Lots of happy colors and deliciousness.
Happy colors indeed! I love that bracelet in the first photo–it’s so sweet. Thanks for the yummy eye-candy. You know I always love seeing photos of you and your darling family.
Congratulations to the very lucky Sherry!!
I love how you got to sneak in some bead time-What a great hubby to give you that wee bit of time for yourself and some beads ^.^ Hey, busy schedules do call for squeeze moments like that ^.^
I LOVE kayaking and miss it so much! We have 3-maybe even 4, I can’t remember! LOL
And those cupcakes look fabulous xD
An hour of bead shopping without “helpers” is a priceless gift, Cindy. When my four were that age, my addiction was fabric. The boys knew every hiding spot at the fabric stores (hint: there are a LOT, hiding spots, that is), so the occasional solo foray was golden.
Thanks for the wonderful colour and family pics!
great colors and photos and what a wonderful husband you have, my dear 🙂
Oh Cindy, great pics as always:-)
Well those are some very happy colors. Love the kayak pics. Especially the one with the 3 of you and with hubby’s arms behind his head just chillaxin. And…hate to admit it but those cupcakes look devine. Think I might need to make some for my kids today for an after school treat.
I love this post. Love it! Beads, kayaks, and chocolate cupcakes. All so yummy! 🙂
Great shots Cindy – I do love those red kayaks. We have been thinking about going to Kayak somewhere on the potomac before the summer ends! It looks like so much fun!
Beautiful colors indeed…especially in the bracelet! How generous of you! How awesome of your husband to watch the kids while you bead shop!!! He’s a keeper, for sure! 🙂
